1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to ArrowTwist. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ArrowTwist website located at https://arrowtwist.com ("Site"), as well as the purchase, download, and use of any Software products offered by ArrowTwist ("Software").
By accessing the Site, creating an account, or purchasing any Software, you ("User," "Customer," or "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site or purchase any products from ArrowTwist.
ArrowTwist reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or Software following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. About ArrowTwist
ArrowTwist is a software development company specializing in Magento 2 extensions and Shopify apps designed to help merchants enhance, optimize, and grow their online stores. All products are developed and maintained by the ArrowTwist team and are available exclusively through https://arrowtwist.com and authorized partner channels.
3. Copyright & Intellectual Property
3.1. ArrowTwist is the sole and exclusive copyright holder of all Software, source code, documentation, graphics, content, and other materials published on or through this Site ("Content"). All rights are reserved.
3.2. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, republish, upload, display, transmit, or use any Content for commercial purposes without prior written consent from ArrowTwist.
3.3. You may not use any part of our Software's code — in whole or in part — in any other software product, application, theme, website, or service, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
3.4. All trademarks, logos, and brand identifiers displayed on the Site are the property of ArrowTwist or their respective owners. Unauthorized use of any trademark is strictly prohibited.
3.5. Violations of these intellectual property rights may result in immediate license termination and legal action under applicable copyright law.
4. License
4.1. When you purchase an ArrowTwist extension or app, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on one (1) live production installation — whether on a Magento 2 store or a Shopify store.
4.2. You may use the same license on an unlimited number of development, staging, or testing environments, provided these environments are not publicly accessible or generating commercial activity.
4.3. A separate license must be purchased for each additional live store or production installation.
4.4. The Software is provided as 100% open-source code. You may customize the Software for your own use, subject to all other restrictions outlined in these Terms and the accompanying End User License Agreement (EULA).
4.5. Your license remains valid indefinitely for the version purchased, unless terminated due to a breach of these Terms or the EULA. Access to updates and support is time-limited as described in Section 7.
4.6. A License Certificate, including a license serial number, will be issued upon successful purchase. This certificate is for your use only and may not be shared or transferred.
5. Digital Product Delivery
5.1. All ArrowTwist products are digital software products delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
5.2. Upon successful payment, you will receive access to download your purchased product files from your account dashboard under My Account > My Downloads.
5.3. Unless explicitly listed as a paid add-on at checkout, purchases do not include installation services, configuration assistance, or custom setup. Customers are responsible for installing the Software by following the user documentation provided.
5.4. Optional installation and setup services may be purchased separately. Please visit our Services page for available options.
5.5. ArrowTwist is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect installation, incompatible server environments, or deviations from the installation instructions provided.
6. Pricing & Payment
6.1. All prices displayed on the Site are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
6.2. ArrowTwist reserves the right to change product pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been completed and paid.
6.3. Payments are processed securely through ArrowTwist's payment partners. ArrowTwist does not store your full payment card details.
6.4. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the Customer and are not included in the listed prices unless explicitly stated.
7. Software Updates & Support Access
7.1. Every purchase of an ArrowTwist product includes:
- Lifetime access to the version of the Software available at the time of purchase.
- 365 days of free access to new Software updates and releases from the purchase date.
- 365 days of access to ArrowTwist's technical support services from the purchase date.
7.2. To continue receiving updates and support after the initial 365-day period, Customers may purchase an Annual Renewal at 50% of the current product price.
7.3. Renewal access grants the Customer a further 365 days of updates and support from the renewal date.
7.4. Customers who choose not to renew may continue using their last downloaded version indefinitely, but will not receive new updates, bug fixes for newer platform versions, or technical support.
7.5. ArrowTwist does not guarantee that updates will be released for every product or every platform version. Update releases are made at ArrowTwist's discretion.
8. Support Policy
8.1. ArrowTwist provides technical support to Customers with an active support subscription (within the 365-day purchase window or a valid renewal period).
8.2. Support covers bugs, errors, and issues that are directly caused by ArrowTwist's Software and are reproducible on a clean Magento 2 or Shopify installation without third-party extensions or theme interference.
8.3. To report a bug or request support, please submit a ticket through our Support Portal. Please allow up to 5 business days for a response. Requests submitted on weekends or public holidays will be addressed on the next business day.
8.4. The following are outside the scope of standard support and may be offered as paid services:
- Issues caused by conflicts with third-party extensions, themes, or custom code.
- Store-specific customizations or configuration requests.
- Issues that cannot be reproduced on a clean installation.
- Support for expired subscriptions.
8.5. Free extensions receive community-level support only. Dedicated paid support for free products is available on an hourly basis. Please contact us for details.
8.6. ArrowTwist shall not be liable for any damages, loss of data, or business disruption arising from the use of or reliance on our support services.
9. Refund Policy
9.1. ArrowTwist offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid Software products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the original purchase date.
9.2. To initiate a refund, you must contact ArrowTwist through our official support channel and confirm in writing that you have completely removed and deleted all copies of the Software from your live store, staging environments, servers, and all other locations.
9.3. Approved refunds will be processed within 3 to 5 business days of confirmation.
9.4. Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after the original purchase date will not be accepted.
10. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
10.1. The refund request is received after 30 days from the date of purchase.
10.2. The Customer decides not to use the product after purchase, without any technical issue being present.
10.3. The Software functions as described on the product page and no reproducible technical defect exists.
10.4. The issue is caused by conflicts with third-party extensions, themes, custom code, or server configurations not supported by ArrowTwist.
10.5. The product was purchased solely for the purpose of evaluation or inspection. We encourage all Customers to thoroughly review product descriptions, feature lists, documentation, and live demos before making a purchase.
10.6. Annual Renewal fees are non-refundable once processed.
10.7. Fees paid for installation services, custom development, or any other professional services are non-refundable once the service has been delivered.
11. Prohibited Uses
When using the Site or Software, you agree that you will not:
11.1. Use the Software on more live installations than your purchased licenses permit.
11.2. Share, distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or transfer the Software or your license to any third party.
11.3. Remove or obscure any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary markings embedded in the Software.
11.4. Use the Software in violation of any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
11.5. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Software's proprietary logic beyond what is permitted by law.
11.6. Use any automated tools, bots, scrapers, or other means to access, copy, or harvest content from the Site.
11.7. Use the Site or Software for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
12.1. THE SITE AND ALL SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARROWTWIST EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12.2. ArrowTwist does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.
12.3. ArrowTwist does not warrant that the Software will be compatible with all third-party extensions, themes, or hosting environments.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ARROWTWIST AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE OR SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ARROWTWIST HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
13.2. IN NO EVENT SHALL ARROWTWIST'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO ARROWTWIST IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
14. Third-Party Links & Integrations
14.1. The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by ArrowTwist. ArrowTwist has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
14.2. The Software may integrate with third-party platforms such as Magento and Shopify. ArrowTwist is not affiliated with or endorsed by these platforms and is not responsible for changes to third-party platform APIs or core functionality that may affect Software performance.
15. Account Responsibility
15.1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
15.2. You agree to notify ArrowTwist immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
15.3. ArrowTwist reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of these Terms.
16. Termination
16.1. ArrowTwist reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site and/or revoke your Software license at any time, without notice, if you are found to be in breach of these Terms or the EULA.
16.2. Upon termination of your license, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and permanently delete all copies from your systems and environments.
16.3. Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless it occurs within the 30-day refund window and all conditions of Section 9 are met.
17. Modifications to These Terms
17.1. ArrowTwist reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
17.2. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice via email or a prominent notice on the Site.
17.3. Your continued use of the Site or Software after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law & Disputes
18.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
18.2. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site or Software shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
18.3. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the appropriate court of competent jurisdiction.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the ArrowTwist End User License Agreement (EULA) and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ArrowTwist with respect to your use of the Site and Software, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications relating to the same subject matter.
